Apple iMac 24 inch 2024 M3 Chip Yellow Description
The Apple 24" iMac is more powerful and capable than ever. The Apple M3 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Tackle your projects with the fast 8-Core CPU and take on graphics-intensive apps and games with the 8-Core GPU. Accelerate machine learning tasks with the 16-core Neural Engine. Combined with 8GB of Unified RAM and a 256GB SSD, you'll be able to take full advantage of macOS as well as other Apple apps.
With a 4.5K (4480 x 2520) screen resolution, this iMac provides over one billion colors and 500 nits of brightness. The Retina 4.5K display also features the wide P3 color gamut, which provides a larger color space that more equally represent red, green, and blue. And with more available colors, the images will appear more vivid and reveal greater detail, with more balance and precision. The display is further enhanced by True Tone technology for a more natural viewing experience.
Apple M3 Chip
Now packed with 25 billion transistors, five billion more than M2, the Apple M3 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Built with 3nm process technology, the Apple M3 Pro delivers the performance you need without sacrificing power efficiency. The 8-Core CPU features four performance cores and four efficiency cores, which is up to 35 percent faster than M1 for CPU performance. The M3 also supports up to 24GB of unified memory.
With an 8-Core GPU, the M3 features Dynamic Caching, which allocates the use of local memory in hardware in real time. Dynamic Caching only uses the exact amount of memory needed for each task, which dramatically increases the average utilization of the GPU, resulting in significant performance increases for the most demanding pro apps and games. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing has arrived for the Mac. Ray tracing models the properties of light as it interacts with a scene, allowing apps to create extremely realistic and physically accurate images. Additionally, the improved GPU brings hardware-accelerated mesh shading to the Mac, delivering greater capability and efficiency to geometry processing, and enabling more visually complex scenes in games and graphics-intensive apps.

The M3-equipped 24" iMac features a compact footprint and a slick side profile, measuring just 11.5mm thin.
24" 4.5K Retina Display
The iMac features a 24" Retina Display with 500 nits of brightness. The Retina Display features a 4480 x 2520 resolution at 218 pixels per inch (ppi). It also supports the P3 wide color gamut, which features 25% more colors than the commonly used sRGB gamut, for even more vibrant greens and reds. The display is calibrated at the factory for accurate gamma, white point, and primary colors. The screen features an anti-reflective coating to reduce light glare.
True Tone Technology
With True Tone technology, the display and Touch Bar deliver a more natural viewing experience for design and editing workflows, as well as everyday tasks like browsing the web and writing email.
Thunderbolt 3 with USB4 Support
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also supports USB4, allowing you to connect to more peripherals, including the Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution.
Full HD 1080p FaceTime HD Camera
The iMac now features a Full HD 1080p FaceTime HD camera, allowing you to host video chats in high quality and provides optimal performance even in low light. The iMac takes advantage of the image signal processor in the M3 chip and the Neural Engine, enhancing camera image quality with better noise reduction, greater dynamic range, and improved auto exposure and white balance. No more grainy video chats for you, you'll be able to connect with friends and family in a high quality FaceTime call. The studio-quality three-mic array also provides clear calls and voice recordings, thanks to its noise reduction and directional beamforming.
Six-Speaker System with Dolby Atmos Support
The iMac has two pairs of force-cancelling woofers placed side by side for an impressive bass response, while reducing unintended vibrations. Each pair is balanced with a high-performance tweeter. The result is a six-speaker sound system that produces a sound stage with strong, articulate bass and clear mids and highs. All of these speaker innovations, coupled with advanced algorithms, enable iMac to support spatial audio when playing video with Dolby Atmos.
